Particular interest was shown in the Erasmus + DIANA project and its international partnership. During the interview, Makhabbat highlighted the project's mission to empower women through rural tourism entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the collaborative efforts of partner institutions from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Portugal and Germany working towards this common goal.
In addition, the interview explored the diverse tourism opportunities available across these countries. From the historic cities of the Silk Road and rich cultural heritage to ecotourism, mountain tourism, rural tourism and unique natural landscapes, the region offers experiences for a wide range of visitors.
The conversation concluded with reflections on the growth of tourism in Central Asia over recent years and an invitation for the Portuguese audience to discover the region.
