Presentation of the Erasmus+ KA2 DIANA Project Held at Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

During the meeting, participants were provided with a detailed overview of the project concept, its strategic directions, implementation mechanisms, and the expected outcomes in the field of women’s entrepreneurship development in rural tourism.

Special attention was given to improving digital literacy, introducing innovative approaches in tourism activities, developing entrepreneurial skills, and creating new opportunities for women and youth in rural areas.

The participants also discussed the significance of the project for the development of sustainable tourism, the expansion of international academic cooperation, and the exchange of best practices among partner institutions.

The implementation of the DIANA project opens up new opportunities for the university’s students and staff, including participation in international training programs, educational activities, research initiatives, and joint projects aimed at strengthening rural tourism and entrepreneurship ecosystems.

The DIANA project represents an important step in strengthening international cooperation, introducing modern educational approaches, and supporting the sustainable socio-economic development of rural communities in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
