The event brought together more than 40 participants, including representatives of the academic community, researchers, experts, and young professionals interested in gender equality, migration, and sustainable development.
During the presentation, participants were introduced to the concept of the DIANA project, its strategic objectives, key implementation areas, and expected outcomes aimed at empowering women in rural areas of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan through the development of entrepreneurship in rural tourism.
Special attention was given to gender equality, the development of women’s entrepreneurial skills, the enhancement of digital literacy, and the creation of sustainable models of economic activity in rural communities.
The presentation of the project within the framework of the international round table highlighted the relevance and interdisciplinary nature of the DIANA initiative, which integrates tourism, gender development, migration, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Participation in such international platforms contributes to expanding professional dialogue, exchanging experience, and strengthening partnership ties between universities and the expert community.
